The Nove Colli cycling race:
Every year Cesenatico hosts the Nove Colli, a cycling race which takes its participants contestants through the suggestive inland parts of the Romagna.
It is also a good starting point for cycling tours along the hills.
There are two different routes: a 200 and a 130 km, both starting and finishing in Cesenatico.
The first competition took place in 1971, with only 17 participants. Now, thirty years later, the Nove Colli is the most famous cycling event of the Adriatic Riviera and attracts athletes from all over the world.
